ADVANCED COASTAL CRUISING ASA 106
Circumnavigate the Delmarva Peninsula on this seven-day sailing adventure. This is an advanced, hands-on learning experience with emphasis on seamanship, preparation, teamwork and safety. You will live aboard, spending half the time offshore in the ocean and half the time in the bay. We will be sailing round-the-clock in some instances, rotating watches. Upon completion of this course, you will be able to safely act as skipper and crew on a sailing vessel 30 to 50 feet in length in coastal and inland waters, in any condition. Prerequisite: ASA 101,103,104,105.
Course fee includes ASA 106 certification, fuel, and "The Annapolis Book of Seamanship" Provisioning not including

COASTAL NAVIGATION COURSE ASA 105
All boaters - power and sail - are welcome to enroll in this special four-day course that focuses on coastal navigation. Even though modern technology has certainly made navigation much easier; knowing how to interpret charts, manually plot a course and to accurately find your position of are important skills a skipper needs to acquire. Whether you are in local waters or abroad this course will give you the confidence and security that modern day GPS can never replace.
This 4 day course includes classroom instruction, "Coastal Navigation" textbook, charts and ASA certification. (Each student should bring plotting tools: parallel rule and dividers)
This "in-class" course is only available in March and space is limited so call early to guarantee your enrollment.
Course Fee $375 per person
This class will be taught over two consecutive weekends: March 17th & 18th - 24th & 25th
